Oh. My. Goodgollymissmolly. I loved this book!! I got to the end and did not want to finish it because then it would be done. I am by no means a speed reader but this book kept me turning the pages.

Wavy McClintock is a 17 year-old witch swept into uncharted waters when she is forced to unravel a mystery of of her magical roots.

Niall Tobin is a witch from an outcast family. He finds himself the scape goat to clear his family’s name. With the help of Wavy, the two embark on a mission to set things right before it is too late.

This was an easy, fast read. The parallel New York setting made the integration of magical rules seamless. The concepts were clearly explained and practically incorporated into the storyline. O’Flynn is a master storyteller through the third person limited view switching between the two main characters. Not once did I wonder who was talking (sometimes hard to accomplish in this writing style).

Bravo, Corinne. You did not let me down! Thank you for lending your autographed copy to my April Share-A-Paloosa contest.
